Once again thanks to Valerio Capecchi, we've updated our Clima web site.

We've added three new graphs:

• Number of days with Max Temp. exceeding 34°C


• Number of days with precipitation exceeding 40 mm


• Number of days with Min Temp. below 0°C

I've took Cannes, the city of the famous Film Festival, as example:

You can see data for all other available station in this web application based on ka-Map.

Have a look to places close to the Tropical and Sub-Tropical region.

Even if it's not perfectly clear, extreme events are growing. The time series we are using (from NOAA's GlobalSod) aren't still enough long to appreciate this kind of changes. Anyway they are a good starting point and are looking forward for more and better free dataset to come out.

More graphs will come.
