Checking a website stats can be a really addictive activity, sharing with you some results can make me feel better.

One of the nice results I was not expecting is about countries. Local community is normally the most active in a FOSS4G but this time it seams that the international community is very present too.

Visits for Countries (first 10):
1. Spain 14.17%
2. United States 11.73%
3. Italy 7.17%
4. Germany 6.34%
5. Canada	4.77%
6. France 4.75%
7. Japan 3.77%
8. United Kingdom 3.01%
9. Portugal 2.99%
10. Netherlands	2.76%

another interesting result is about referrals, telling us how people reach our website:
45.45% Referring Sites
28.38% Search Engines
26.17% Direct Traffic
It is clear how Referring sites are very important for our promotion. Here our best referrals:
1. osgeo.org
2. foss4g.org
3. mapserver.org
4. postgis.refractions.net
5. gjc.org
6. gdal.org
7. wiki.osgeo.org
8. grass.itc.it
9. maptools.org
10. geospatial.blogs.com

thanks to all website that are referring to FOSS4G 2010.

see you in Barcelona
We are still in an early phase of the organization but numbers start to move.

It's easy to see from the conference home page that the sponsors has started supporting the event and that new media are promoting FOSS4G.

is your website supporting FOSS4G?
check the our wiki page for the logo to show in your home page.

The prospect for the sponsorship is available too.

The Press Release [2] of the announce is close to be published.
